Oxford students have trashed fellow students to mark final exams, defying the orders of university bosses.
Final year students leaving exams were showered in silly string, shaving foam, glitter as they left the exam hall, on Thursday.
Although the tradition is steeped in Oxford’s history, university authorities have tried to discourage the festivities.
Last year university authorities launched an offensive against the practice with its ‘what a waste’ campaign that could lead to disciplinary action and a £300.
